Woodlands of Ireland was a member of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Ireland, the company established to develop an agreed FSC-approved forest standard for Ireland. Woodlands of Ireland had provided guidance, technical input and submitted proposals from when it joined in 1999. Early in 2012, FSC International ratified the standard agreed by environmental, social and economic stakeholders in Ireland.
